Profesor Hugo Mondragón escribe artículo para colección Moleskine

Con ocasión de la primera edición de la Milano Arch Week, la semana milanesa dedicada a los temas de la arquitectura contemporánea, el pasadoviernes 16 de junio Ediciones Moleskine realizará el lanzamiento de su nuevo libro titulado: El Equipo de Mazzanti, el último de la colección Inspiration and Process in Architecture. El libro incluye un texto crítico del trabajo del arquitecto colombiano titulado Playing Architecture. Project Concerns in the work of Giancarlo Mazzanti, cuyo autor es el profesor de nuestra Escuela de Arquitectura UC Hugo Mondragón.

Homo-Ludens. It is difficult to find a more precise expression to define the personality of Giancarlo Mazzanti. In fact, rather than conceiving architecture, he plays it. But it is not a game played without a concern for all the relevant factors. On the contrary, whatever the situation, Mazzanti establishes specific rules of the game that define the logic of his projects, but without entirely stripping the random and fortuitous out of the design process.
